Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to join our patient-focused care team. The role involves guiding patients through routine and critical care, managing ventilation, delivering oxygen and aerosolized therapies, and collaborating with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Must have NBRC-RRT certification.
• Must have RRT/RCP-State licensure or eligibility.
• BCLS Instructor certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and plan interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway support in emergency, critical care, and acute settings.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses.
