Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT PRN) to join our team. You will guide patients through routine and critical care, performing diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, and managing ventilation across care settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC-RRT credential.
• RRT/RCP-State licensure (or equivalent).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; instructor status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status through focused exams and clinical assessment.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway interventions including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and clean equipment; ensure infection control and safety.
