Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide a range of respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures for adults and neonates. The role includes assessments, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway maintenance under supervision according to department policies.

The candidate should have an accredited respiratory care program, hold BLS and ACLS, and be licensed in Texas with NBRC registration.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• NRP or PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed by Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration, aerosol therapy, humidity therapy, IPPB, and airway maintenance.
• Conduct cardiopulmonary diagnostics: ABG, pulse oximetry, PFT, ECG.
• Prepare treatment evaluations with bedside assessments and medical record review.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data when reviewing patient data.
• Operate, assemble, and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment (ventilators, monitors, analyzers).
• Participate in infection control, safety, and quality assurance activities.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

NRP or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, Texas Medical Board

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC

6+ months respiratory care experience
