Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. The RRT II provides neonatal through geriatric cardiopulmonary care, plans and evaluates services, and may assume charge responsibilities.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Respiratory Care, NBRC registration, and SC license. 2–4 years of experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS are required. Competitive benefits are highlighted by UHS.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care or Equivalent.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• 2–4 years of experience in neonatal to geriatric respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and advanced Cardiopulmonary Services across age groups.
• Operates, monitors, and weans mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and BiPAP.
• Assists with procedures such as tracheostomy, thoracentesis, and arterial line insertion.
• Documents care, communicates plan changes, and participates in patient teaching.
