Job summary

Medical City North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, TX, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and manage ventilation across emergency, ICU, and acute care areas with access to advanced respiratory technology.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate patients and families, maintain equipment, and uphold infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• State-licensed or eligible RRT/RCP.
• Associate degree or vocational training.
• ACLS, BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Neonatal resuscitation within 30 days.
• PALS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, meds, and airway clearance.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with care team.
• Maintain and sterilize equipment; ensure infection prevention standards.
