Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shifts to join our Edward Hospital location.

You will provide respiratory therapy to neonatal through geriatric patients, assist physicians, document treatments, and monitor patient responses.

This full-time role offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program as determined by CoARC.
• RRT certification or registry eligible status.
• State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment.
• Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS within 24 months of employment.
• NRP within 24 months of employment.
• PALS within 24 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with Respiratory Therapy procedures as requested.
• Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians.
• Assess patients to determine best method of administering treatment.
• Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control; transcribe orders where needed.
• Communicate treatment details to patients and families clearly.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, with attention to pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Provide education to patients and staff.

Skills

RRT certification or registry eligible

CPR certification

ACLS within 24 months

NRP within 24 months

PALS within 24 months

IL Licensure within 6 months

Education
