Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Northwest Community Hospital team. In this full-time role (36 hours/week), you will perform, teach, and guide all forms of respiratory therapy and related diagnostics.

The position requires neonatal to geriatric care, IL licensure, and ongoing education. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory therapy granting eligibility to take exams given by the National Board for Respiratory Care or Registered or Certified by the N.B.R.C.
• Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure required.
• Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Care, performs, teaches, and guides all forms of respiratory therapy, chest physical therapy, and cardiopulmonary diagnostics.
• Assesss and treat patients from neonatal to geriatric; implement assessment/treatment.
• Involves family/guardian in plan of care and conducts patient family education.
