Job summary

UF Health in New York seeks a Respiratory Therapist to work under supervision, delivering and evaluating respiratory therapy according to AA Respiratory Care guidelines and ethics. Requires RRT licensure and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as applicable, with a 90-day window to obtain NRP/PALS if missing.

Strong English communication skills required to collaborate with the healthcare team. High school diploma with some college or an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: - High School Diploma/GED (required) with some college, business, technical training, or Associates of Science Degree (preferred)
• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist - BLS - ACLS - PALS - NRP
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - As applicable RCP staff assigned to maternal-child services will be required to have NRP and PALS certification. Therapist hired without NRP or PALS will have 90 days to obtain their NRP and PALS certification.
