Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour night shift. The role involves delivering respiratory care to patients across ACC/PICU and Children's Hospital settings, with a sign-on bonus up to $25,000.

Qualifications

• A registered respiratory therapist with credentials (RRT) preferred.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan is required.
• Must complete BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP per site requirements.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire; ACLS/PALS/NRP site-specific within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients following provider orders and institutional policies.
• Evaluate ABG results and adjust therapy as clinically indicated.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to providers and nursing staff.
• Assist with airway management and procedures including intubation when competent.
