Job summary

Franklin Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II for Full Time (36 hrs) on the night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am). A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants, with prorated eligibility for part-time hires.

The role delivers independent, high-quality respiratory care across diverse clinical settings, assessing patients, planning care, and adjusting plans as needed within established standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required. RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance to a Level II. BLS within 30 days. ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date
• Experience: Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/adjust respiratory care plans.
• Manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.
• Provide high-quality respiratory care across clinical settings and patient populations.
