Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide patient assessments and deliver therapies for cardiopulmonary disorders. The role includes protocol-driven care, documentation, and collaboration with the Respiratory Care Department.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's in Respiratory Therapy, Michigan licensure, and NBRC RRT credentials, with at least six months of clinical experience and BCLS. Night shifts and CQI participation are included.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Michigan.
• Credentialed as an RRT by NBRC.
• At least six months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or equivalent.
• BCLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform therapist-driven protocols, patient assessments, administration of medications, and evaluate patient response to therapies.
• Document performance and results of therapies according to policy and procedures.
• Maintain the Order Entry and Charging system related to services rendered.
• Assist with data collection and CQI projects for Respiratory Care.
• Supervise and assist in training of new employees and students.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Respiratory Care Department equipment cost-effectively.
• Participate in CPR as part of the CPR team.
