Job summary

WellSpan Health’s Chambersburg Respiratory Therapy department is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. The RRT administers respiratory treatments, assesses patient needs, and contributes to care plans and discharge planning.

The role includes mentoring staff, coordinating with case management, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care across the patient population. Qualifications include NBRC-credentialed RRT, PA licensure, BLS, and within six months of hire: NRP,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or meets NBRC/Pennsylvania board standards.
• Experience with customer service and acute care settings is desirable.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certification requirements within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments per protocol and plan of care.
• Assess and monitor patient response; adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and staff; participate in quality improvement and research tasks.
