Job summary

Buckeye Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to grow our post-acute respiratory program, with a focus on non-invasive NIV therapies (BiPAP/CPAP) under the Director of Nursing.

You will assess, implement, and monitor NIV therapy, educate residents and families, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians and nursing leadership to expand services and improve patient care. Night shifts required with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License.
• RRT or CRT credential required or eligible.
• Experience with NIV BiPAP/CPAP preferred.
• Background in SNF/long-term care or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, initiate, monitor BiPAP/CPAP (NIV) therapy.
• Perform respiratory assessments and identify residents needing services.
• Administer respiratory treatments as ordered.
• Educate residents, families and staff on equipment and therapies.
• Document in EMR and collaborate with medical team.
• Support program development and quality initiatives.
