Job summary

Lincoln Crawford Care Center is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. You will work closely with nursing and clinical staff to deliver exceptional respiratory care in a resident-centered setting.

The role involves assessing, treating, and monitoring residents per physician orders, with emphasis on comfort, safety, and education for residents, families, and staff. Sign-on bonus and full benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT) in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (CPR); ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome!).
• Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented with a focus on quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document respiratory interventions, progress notes, and equipment use accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' respiratory status and coordinate care with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and health practices.
