Job summary

Join our team at Lincoln Crawford Care Center as a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to work closely with nursing and clinical staff. You will deliver respiratory care to residents, aiming for optimal breathing function, recovery, and comfort in a resident-centered environment.

Perform respiratory assessments, administer oxygen and nebulizer treatments, manage ventilators as needed, and document interventions accurately.

Qualifications

• Requires licensed Respiratory Therapist in Ohio (CRT or RRT).
• BLS CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, compassionate and detail-oriented with focus on quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy per physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document respiratory interventions, progress notes, and equipment use accurately.
• Respond to changes in residents’ respiratory status and coordinate with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and health practices.
