• Must have completed a respiratory care program (2 or 4 years).
• Ohio licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional with NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT).
• Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respiratory Care, ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and professionalism.
• Perform duties outside the normal routine care as needed.
• Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures, diagnostic tests and education per policy.
• Record patient data in the medical record and maintain records.
• Precept new employees and participate in student rotations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and safety.
• Communicate clinical information and collaborate with physicians and care teams.
