Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Senior Respiratory Therapist supervisor to direct, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the Respiratory Care Department during the night shift. You will provide direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients and ensure high-quality respiratory therapy services.

The role requires RRT certification, ACLS and BLS, with a strong focus on mechanical ventilation, ABG lab management and staff education.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Three years minimum experience in all aspects of respiratory care including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required. ACLS required. BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Directs, coordinates and supervises daily activities of the Respiratory Care Department.
• Provides direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains clinical competency for mechanical ventilation in adult critical care units.
• Supervises ABG lab duties and quality control to meet state and JC AH O requirements.
• Coordinates educational and orientation programs for staff.
