Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale seeks a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift to direct, coordinate and supervise the Respiratory Care Department. You will implement quality patient care, perform mechanical ventilation management, ABG analysis, PFT testing and therapeutic procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients under medical guidance.

Requirements include an accredited Respiratory Care program completion, NBRC RRT credential, ACLS and BLS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Three years minimum experience in respiratory care including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC.
• ACLS required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and supervises daily activities of the Respiratory Care Department.
• Ensures timely, professional and efficient patient care.
• Provides direct patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Maintains and operates ABG lab and related equipment.
• Performs respiratory therapy procedures and supports education for staff.
