Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Residential Youth Specialist for third shift, part-time. You will support youth in a residential setting, supervise daily routines, and participate in treatment planning under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year in child welfare, and strong communication. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with health insurance and additional benefits typical to this role.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of child welfare experience working with children/adolescents.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Must pass required medical examinations and have ability to perform essential job functions including restraints.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and retain knowledge about the sexual offender treatment program and implement components.
• Oversee residents’ daily routines including meals, study time, outings, and bedtime.
• Attend bi-monthly meetings with supervisor to discuss performance or concerns.
• Follow treatment guidelines and intervene with care when needed.
• Provide residential advocacy at staff meetings with updates on residents, lifecycles and goals.
• Perform essential functions without operating a motor vehicle and maintain safety.
