Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC seeks a Residential Youth Specialist for the 3rd shift, part-time position in Grand Rapids, MI. You will support residential youth through structured routines, safety protocols, and compassionate supervision in a faith-based setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year in child welfare with youth. Candidates must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of child welfare experience working with children/adolescents.
• Must be 21+ with a valid US driver’s license and 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ daily routines including meals, study time, outings, and bedtime.
• Follow treatment guidelines and intervene in a caring, consistent manner.
• Maintain safety and oversee resident activities and interactions.
• Attend bi-monthly meetings to discuss performance and concerns.
• Possess ability to perform essential functions without operating a vehicle as required.
• Work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
