Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a part-time ILP Youth Specialist for night shifts (11pm-8am). The role requires minimum education of a high school diploma and prefers bilingual English/Spanish speakers who can support diverse youth and refugees with compassion and confidentiality.

Expect weekend variability and ongoing team collaboration. Responsibilities include supervising activities, documenting progress, and participating in regular meetings to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Experience with diverse youth and refugee backgrounds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in activities and support positive interaction and growth.
• Attend meetings with supervisors to review performance and concerns.
• Provide professional, caring interactions following program guidelines.
• Utilize crisis intervention procedures when needed.
• Support shift supervision as scheduling requires.
• Report on resident progress, goals, and school performance.
