Job summary

ROCK HILL NEW HOPE TREATMENT CENTERS is seeking a Residential Counselor for the 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift in Rock Hill, SC. The role focuses on supervising and supporting children and adolescents with mental health needs within a therapeutic residential milieu.

You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to treatment goals. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, is full-time, and may involve evening, night, weekend, and holiday work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must successfully pass all required background checks.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of residents under care and follow medical and life-safety policies.
• Provide therapeutic supervision during treatment activities.
• Report any behavior impacting the therapeutic milieu to the supervisor.
• Assist in orientation of new residents and ongoing program rule education.
