Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Golden Valley, Minnesota, is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care for residents. The role emphasizes both physical and emotional support, helping residents maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL’s as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
• Complete all required documentation daily.
