Job summary

Great Lakes Management (GLM) is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to residents on weekend shifts. The role includes aiding with daily living activities, emotional support, and participating in activities with residents.

Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with shift differentials and 401(k) matching. Prior long-term care or assisted living experience is preferred, along with CNA/NNA certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in their service plan.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per the service plan.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to offer reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
• Complete required documentation daily, including schedules and notes.
