The job shifts run 6 AM–4:30 PM, Mon–Thu with possible overtime on Fridays, paying $17–$19 per hour plus a $1 differential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Good mechanical skills and ability to follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and wash freight or locomotive valves or brake pistons.
• Identify serviceable vs non-serviceable parts.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment (pedestal buffers, wash machines, ultrasonic washers).
• Handle valves, parts, and tools safely.
• Use power and hand tools correctly (impact wrenches, drills).
• Follow quality, safety, and regulatory policies.
• Adhere to hazardous waste management protocols as required.
