Job summary

Deluxe Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Processing Specialist I to perform day-to-day remittance processing tasks on the 2nd shift. You will operate mail extraction equipment, batch transactions, and prepare outgoing items according to client instructions.

This role requires basic to intermediate duties, attention to detail, and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment. Deluxe offers benefits starting on day one and opportunities for growth within production

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to read and make basic decisions.
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mail Extraction Equipment to group work into process batches.
• Batch checks, invoices, and coupons according to client instructions.
• Perform batch sorting and decision-making with header documents.
• Dispatch and review outgoing items, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy.
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment when needed.
• Support goal of meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
