Job summary

The role focuses on maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and handling work orders under the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include servicing mechanical, electrical and building systems, ordering parts, supervising installations, and ensuring safety and SQF standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of mechanic experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detailed oriented and can multi-task.
• Must have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
• Perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical and building systems and equipment.
• Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair.
• Identify parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary.
• Supervise installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of switches, cables and other equipment to ensure optimum usage and quality.
• Ensure compliance to company requirements.
• Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations.
• Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
