Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in Rehabilitation for a Springfield, Missouri assignment. The role requires RN licensure, at least 1 year in rehab, and 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week engagement. Travel experience and flexibility are preferred.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, care planning with a multidisciplinary team, and discharge planning to support patient recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
• Must be eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients, including neuro, ortho, and post-surgical cases.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage pain control strategies.
