Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Madison, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation unit. You will lead nursing staff, mentor teammates, and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting, with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; Child and Adult Abuse Certification required; CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, safe patient care.
• Provide clinical mentorship and oversee documentation; coordinate staff assignments by patient needs.
• Educate staff on quality improvement documentation and reflect burden of care.
• Serve as resource for nursing staff caring for medically complex patients.
• Assist with patient and family education and coordinate resources to reduce readmissions.
• Conduct CQPI activities and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure care standards and patient safety are maximized and maintained.
