Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Madison, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in Madison, Mississippi. This role emphasizes compassionate care, patient assessments, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support healthier communities.

The team focuses on safety, quality, and education, with opportunities for growth, and requires an RN license, BSN/ADN/Diploma, and CPR/BCLS; ACLS and CRRN are preferred credentials to

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team
