Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Current NBRC RRT certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NRP certification upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor degree preferred.
• Two years acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Emphasize assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care with age-specific considerations.
• May be designated Lead RCP, with responsibility for the section/department during the shift.
