St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for a full-time night shift in Joliet, IL.

The role involves performing respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered, with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care. The successful candidate will hold an RCP license, NBRC RRT or be eligible within 3 months, and possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or obtain within defined periods).

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current NBRC RRT certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintained or within 60 days of hire.
• NRP certification upon hire and maintained within 60 days of hire.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care with attention to patient age and population needs.
• Potentially lead RCP on the shift when assigned.
