Job summary

Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join the Bemidji Veterans Home nursing team. The role covers the night shift (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.), with hours per pay period and weekend variation as assigned.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification through recognized bodies.
• Effective communication to provide and follow instructions and teach skills.
• Computer skills sufficient to complete electronic charting, specifically in PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver quality resident-centered care.
• Deliver care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Mentor or support other nursing staff to uphold care standards.
