DHR Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Full Time Night shift on the BV Med Surg 3rd Floor (Code 20049) in Brownsville, TX. The role delivers comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, BSN is preferred, ACLS after 3 months, and is willing to cross-train and, over time, serve as charge nurse or preceptor. Bilingual not required.

Formación

• Texas RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS required after 3 months of hire.
• Cross training to like areas.
• Willingness to become a charge nurse.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and therapies within safe nursing practice.
• Assist with admitting, discharging and transferring patients.
