Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for 6 East Med Surg on the Night Shift (7p-7:30a). This full-time, on-site role supports patient care on 6 East and requires Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS.

Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process from admission to discharge, completing assessments, planning discharge, supervising care, and delegating tasks. BSN preferred, ACLS preferred; signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Nursing Process to deliver care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care within the unit.
• Delegates tasks appropriately according to competency and staff levels.
