Job summary

West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking an experienced registered nurse for full-time night shift. Provides safe, competent nursing care, leadership to the healthcare team, and adherence to patient-centered care standards within a 150-bed acute care setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, BLS, and PALS or NRP as required. BSN preferred; 1 year acute care or 3 years part-time experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric) or NRP Certification (neonatal) as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Education

RN license in Nevada
