Job summary

West Henderson Hospital in The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse for full-time day shifts. Provide safe, competent nursing care and clinical leadership in a busy acute care setting.

Requires Nevada RN license, BLS, and preferably BSN. One year full-time or three years part-time acute care experience. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within VHS and UHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One (1) year full time or three (3) years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
