West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a CNA to support nursing operations on our 7th acute care hospital in Las Vegas area. Responsibilities include clerical tasks and direct patient care in a busy unit.

The role requires a CNA certification in Nevada, completion of an approved CNA program, current BCLS, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS; strong patient-care focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.
• Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities in the nursing unit.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties within the unit.
• Provide patient care/services as outlined by state guidelines.
