Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required; maintain upon hire/transfer.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications may be required for specialty areas.
• De-escalation training completed within 90 days; must maintain.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient clinical experience, within past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process within applicable acts and standards.
• Work under supervision and be supervised by Nurse Manager.
• Supervise LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, Unit Technicians.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; follow protocols.
• Be available for shift work, including weekends as needed.
