Job summary

Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift to provide patient care and nursing services. The RN utilizes the Nursing Process within established standards to promote health, safety, and quality of care across units.

Education requires graduation from NLN School of Nursing with Mississippi RN licensure and BCLS certification. Inpatient experience and de-escalation training are preferred; theory and clinical practice guide daily responsibilities and

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• All RNs must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire/transfer.
• De-escalation training completed by orientation (90 days) and specialty-area certs as listed.
• A minimum of one year inpatient clinical experience, within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per standards.
• Maintain required certifications for specialty areas.
• Supervise LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians.
• Report to Patient Care Manager and collaborate with care teams.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
