Job summary

Aperion Care in Barrington, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7p-7am shift to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. You will plan daily activities, administer medications, and maintain patient confidentiality within regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN with current unencumbered state license.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Complete required documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians and safety protocols.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff to meet needs.
• Provide care including activities of daily living and care plans.
• Receive/give nursing reports at shift changes.
