Qualifications

• Must communicate observations and needs to RN promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, intake/output, and daily weights.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
