Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks an Experienced RN for a night shift in the Adult Emergency Department. The RN I role focuses on foundational clinical practice, patient assessment, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requires an Associate's or Bachelor’s in Nursing, active RN license, and BLS. RN II/III tracks depend on experience and qualifications. Sign-on and relocation benefits may be offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
• License/Certification/Registration: Current RN license and BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; notes changes in physician orders.
• Assists physician in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data; observes and intervenes as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications and delivers IV infusions.
• Delivers patient care safely and competently; addresses patient complaints per policy.
