McLaren is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Family Birth Place. The role delivers quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborates with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice.

You will direct, coordinate and delegate activities to foster patient and family centered care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, intervening as needed, evaluating outcomes, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
