Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Family Birthing Place in Michigan. You will deliver nursing care, assess patients, and teach patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing the care plan, supervising ancillary staff, and ensuring adherence to standards. A Michigan RN license and accreditation are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be needed based on unit rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS within six months for RNs in critical care, emergency, and related units.
• One year of professional nursing experience (preferred).
• ACLS preferred in other units (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and evaluate response to plan of care and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement the patient care plan and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
