The nurse delivers standard nursing care within unit scope, adhering to hospital policies and evidenced-based guidelines. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning and implementing care, and supervising ancillary personnel to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within six months for specified units; PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient, document responses, and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Plan and implement patient care and provide education using the care plan.
• Oversee ancillary staff for technical tasks.
