Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an RN for night shift to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, develop care plans and coordinate discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include supervising care, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring standards of practice are met. Massachusetts licensure and BLS required, ACLS preferred when applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification current preferred as applicable.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing processes and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
