Job summary

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This full-time position is 0.9 FTE with night shifts and requires critical thinking, strong communication, and a commitment to compassionate care.

You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, and plan individualized care while collaborating with physicians and cross-training to ICU as needed. Our benefits include PTO from day one, generous retirement match, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Current MI RN license.
• ACLS required; PALS and TNCC at next available course.
• ED/ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs general nursing with adequate supervision.
• Will cross-train to the ICU.
