Job summary

Aspirus Iron River Hospital in Iron River, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This part-time, night-shift position offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate care with physicians. A sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Ideal candidates hold a Michigan RN license, BLS certification, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Med Surg experience is preferred, and cross-training to OB may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Current State of MI RN license.
• BLS within 6 months of hire.
• Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs general nursing with adequate supervision.
• Will cross-train to OB.
