Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2 South unit, a 30-bed area serving Adult Trauma, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, Surgical and Medical ICU patients. The RN will manage patient care, coordinate and evaluate care, and delegate activities to the health care team.

The role requires Michigan nursing licensure, BSN preferred with a plan to obtain BSN within five years, BLS and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Previous Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during a designated timeframe.
• Coordinate and evaluate care and delegate activities to other health care team members.
• Teach and support the health care team using therapeutic use of self and the nursing process.
